22-year-old arrested in Petersburg for possession of marijuana, cocaine and firearms

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — The Petersburg Bureau of Police has arrested a 22-year-old man who they say was found in possession of firearms and drugs.

According to Petersburg Police, on Thursday, Jan. 25 at approximately 1:30 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop for a driver who committed a traffic violation.

During the encounter, officers located a concealed weapon on the driver, identified as 22-year-old Ty’Reem Bonner. Police later found a second firearm, as well as marijuana, cocaine, and digital scales in his car.

According to police, Bonner was arrested and charged with possession of a concealed weapon, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell and possession of a firearm with a controlled substance.
